We achieve our mission of connecting people and communities to quality affordable housing opportunities by offering rental assistance through a variety of programs while promoting self-sufficiency and neighborhood revitalization.

Housing Choice Voucher

The Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program is a rental assistance program that helps lower-income families, the elderly, and persons with disabilities afford safe, decent housing.

Public Housing

Housing Connect's Public Housing program is designed to provide housing for eligible low-income families, the elderly, and persons with disabilities.

COC Supportive Housing

Continuum of Care (COC), funded through the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), funds projects to help house people who are experiencing homelessness.

Homeless Assistance Rental Program (HARP)

Homeless Assistance Rental Program (HARP) provides rental assistance to individuals and families engaged in behavioral health treatment through a Salt Lake County provider.

Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing

Housing Connect’s VASH program supports homeless veterans who need access to affordable housing, case management, and other services.

Project-Based Vouchers

Housing Connect’s Project-Based Vouchers offer rental assistance for qualifying individuals/families dedicated for use at specific properties.

Mainstream / Non-Elderly Disabled Voucher Program

The Mainstream / Non-Elderly Disabled Voucher program provides rental assistance to low-income households who include a person with disabilities.

Family Unification Program (FUP)

The Family Unification Program (FUP) serves families and youth ages 18 to 24 who are working with the Division of Children and Family Services (DCFS).

Assertive Community Treatment Housing (ACT)

The ACT program provides comprehensive, flexible treatment and support through a multidisciplinary team to individuals who live with serious mental illness.

Housing Opportunity for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA)

Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) is the only federal program dedicated to the housing needs of people living with HIV/AIDS.

Refugee Employment Supportive Housing (RESH)

Partnership with the Department of Workforce Service's Refugee Service office to provide housing for refugees working with DWS.

Right In/Out (RIO)

Funded through the Salt Lake County Division of Behavioral Health, RIO provides housing assistance to those working with Valley Behavioral Health.
