Housing Connect has partnered with property owners across Salt Lake County to provide safe, decent affordable housing opportunities for over 3,000 households.
Benefits for Landlords
Consistent and on-time rent payment. Housing Connect pays its portion of the contract rent through direct deposit to the property owner’s bank on the first business day of the month, and holds tenants responsible for paying their monthly report portion on time.
Free listing service. Property owners are welcome to list property information with Housing Connect, which will be displayed in the reception area of our office.
Control over property. Property owners retain the right to pre-screen prospective tenants and terminated tenancy at the end of any lease term without cause by providing the tenant and Housing Connect at least a 30-day notice to vacate in writing.
Note: Housing Connect does not pre-screen tenants for suitability or behavior. That is the sole responsibility of the property owner.
