The Helm Apartments were built in 1950 and acquired by the Housing Authority of the County of Salt Lake in 1999. The apartment complex consists of two, two-story brick structures with eight one-bedroom units.

During their residency at Helm Avenue, tenants receive supportive services from the VA. Helm Avenue offers some covered utilities to help our veterans save money, storage closets adjacent to covered parking, responsive maintenance and management to relieve the stress of contacting the staff, 24-hour emergency maintenance, covered parking enforcement, and mature landscaping.
