Employment and Training Rental Afghan Assistance (ETRAA)

ETRAA is a tenant-based rental assistance for Afghan refugees, parolees and humanitarians eligible for services under the Afghanistan Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2022 (ASA). Households must have at least one adult participating in the job training and English Work and Wellness Program (EWWP) at the LDS Humanitarian Center to be eligible. Entire household must be under 60% AMI.

While participating in the Humanitarian Center program, the family’s rent portion is paid in full (capped based on household size). Clients are eligible for up to 12 months of rental assistance and must remain engaged with the LDS HC program to remain qualified. This program provides job and language training to participants along with rental subsidy. Referrals for this program come from DWS RSO office.
