Jorub was not able to save any money. She is a single mom that has to do everything for her family, and that was a lot. Her entire paycheck was going to rent and food, making it impossible to set aside money for anything else.
By working with Housing Connect, Jorub was able to gain stability. She paid what she could for rent, and that allowed her to tackle other things.
Jorub now goes to school and works part-time, while still providing for her family. She says her life is a lot better.
